Just contemplating and dreaming. (As I have posted in mahindra>purchasing)I am in the works of buying a 5530 4X4 w/ FEL and was curious as to how hard it is to remove FEL when not using?
I am a bit of a tinkerer(maybe an understatement) but was thinking of building a pushing/dozer blade setup for the front.
Havent even got it home yet and already have so many Ideas
the pic on my avatar is the last major build I have had time for since purchasing my first home and I am in need of(like I need a kick in the head
) a good project.
I dont know if its cause im cheep or just resourceful but I pride myself in building things that cost nothing.
IE my crane on my avatar pic cost me 8 garage door pullies.
The rest was scrap left over from jobs like rehabs on water and waste water plants and side work such as demo work on old grain elevators.
I have plenty of hydrulics and other heavy rods pipes and plates(and yes some of it is SS so it may be shiny! nice
) may have to invest in seal kits for the hydrulics but that shouldnt cost much I think valving is the most expensive. Ohh well just dreaming like i say the kid in the candy store hasnt even chewed the bubblegum yet.
Time to occupy my mind before I get in too deep
later yall
