Dresser Dozers

TD8E would be valid and quite a common older unit. The E8E doesn't sound right to me.
There is a confusing history. First it was International Harvester USA made then Dresser USA made then Dresser Korean made (like mine) then Dressta Polish Made, may still exist, and some were along the line Komatsu took over. I get parts thru Komatsu. If you get a valid model number you should be able to find specs on the web. I am only familiar with the TD series. There are quite a few.

Thanks, that could be what it is. A friend knows of this unit for sale and I may be interested if the price is right. What is the weight of the TD8? I need to get a dozer I can haul on my 12K trailer. Something on the order of a JD or Case 350.

Never ceases to amaze me... you have a computer. Type in the make model and specifications. 61,000 results in 0.33 seconds. That will tell you an 80s model will weigh 16,700# with dozer blade. Its just that simple. The computer knows everything !

A TD8E is more than a JD 350. TD8E dozer with standard ROPS, blade, all oil, fuel, and operator is spec'ed at 16,980 lbs. Tractor only dry weight (no oil or fuel, no blade, no ROPS) 12,745 lbs. I think they are 80 or 90 hp. Same 239/240 motor I have in the TD7 but turbo charged. Mine is 70 hp w/o turbo.
