My 1610 was in need of a drive belt at the start of this season. I removed the old belt went over to the local industrial supply house to get a replacement. The measured it up and gave me a Gates belt (one of the green ones). After installation, it took about an hour for that belt to stretch to a point where I had no forward drive. The adjustment idler is maxed-out. Anyone else had this problem? Are CC belts different, or better, in some way?
