I am a new member. I have installed a quick hitch on my JD. Now the clipper drive line it too short. Do I buy a new shaft or get the one I have extended? I would like to add a grease fitting to the drive line. Thanks, Any help would be nice.

Many dealers have shafts in stock to make a new one! Don't forget the shield!

Agrisupply has 4" PTO extensions for about $21 bucks I think, plus shipping. I ordered one from them and it worked perfectly on my 790, which has the pats easy change on it. If you can't find it on their website, I see if I can link it for you. Also, if you want, I have a pic of it somewhere that I can post if you want to see it hooked in.

G'day when you fit up an ext make sure you get one of the ones that bolt on not the quick release button type as they do not tighten properly have seen them wear the pto shaft:(
