Drivers Ed and Sharing the Fun

sorry tobe so stubborn about things.but i try not to bragg here about what i know an i sure dont try to come off knowing everything.your right ive been driving tractors an raking hay since i was 10yrs old.ive also had the hydro pump go out running the tractor 2 or 3 times.being in the shape im in i try to know the varables.wich means i try to always be safe since i work alone.an i realize alot here have a tractor for yard work an small hodings.an im ok with that,i look at everything through a cattlemen an farmers eyes.

Agreed, we all do things differently based on our experience, background and present use. I still look at it through the eyes of a farmer as that is how I was raised and those are the people with whom I interact.

I am now a "hobbyist" though I will average over 600 hours per year on different machines; guess I am just lucky.

I do think most were just trying to be helpful, I just personally don't like it when that turns in to lecturing; hope I don't come across too strong and if I am, I apologize; great bunch of people here.:thumbsup:

3R your fine we think alot a like.most here have tractors for yardwork an fun.they dont know what it is to spend years around farm equipment.they read the how to books.i was put on a tractor showed an told what todo an turned loose.i bet my dad didnt ride 3 rounds with me,as he was baling behind me.
