I HAVE PLANS OF A DRIVEWAY SCRAPER THAT I BUILT IF ANYBODY WOULD LIKE IT. SORRY I DON'T HAVE A DIGITAL CAMERA SO I CAN NOT TAKE PICTURES OF IT. I HAVE PLANS IN AUTOCAD FORMAT AND ALSO IN A PDF FORMAT.

COULD SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO POST THESE KIND OF FILES?

PDF files and zip files seem to post ok, in the same way as an image file. Not sure about a dwg file. Files must be smaller than 100KB though.

Cool! Nice project.
Just a note: The resolution is such that some of the (small)dimensions are illegible ... but could probably be derived from the others.
Cheers!

I COULD POST A LARGER PDF IF EVERYONE WOULD LIKE, MAYBE A 24x36 PDF. JUST LET ME KNOW AND I CAN REMAKE THE PDF.

I COULD ALSO ATTACH THE CAD FILE IF ANYONE WANTED THAT INSTEAD OF THE PDF. JUST LET ME KNOW WHAT FORMAT YOU NEED IT IN.

Looks good.

Have you started yet? What size material are you using for the "blades"?

If you added some brackets to the front blade, you might be able to add in some small "scarifiers" to help loosen the material up as it's graded. Think they'd only need to go down 2 or so inches, maybe one every 8" or so...........

THKS.

YES, IT IS COMPLETE AND WORKS GREAT.

6" C CHANNEL (NOT SURE ON WEIGHT) THAT I HAD IN THE SHOP

SO FAR IT WORKS GOOD WITHOUT THE SCARIFIERS BUT IF I RUN INTO PROBLEMS I WILL THINK ABOUT ADDING THEM. I ALSO HAVE A BOX BLADE WITH SCARIFIERS AND A 3 POINT TILLER IF I DO NEED TO LOOSEN THE GROUND.

ATTACHED IS A PICTURE OF A SIMILAR SCRAPER THAT THEY SELL FOR $800 OR SO, I HAD $50 DOLLARS IN MINE.

Oh, ok, mostly for smoothing of gravel. I had it in mind as a DuraGrader type with dual (abrasion resistant) grader blades (not just plain hot rolled channel). Bet it does work great!
If the channel wore pretty fast, I noticed that my local steel yard has ¼" AR400 steel in 8' wide sheets, sheared to any length for $1.60/# ... that would be a reasonable way to get some quick and easy durable edges.
Cheers!

I THOUGHT ABOUT THE WEAR PROBLEM AND IF IT DOES I WILL JUST BOLT ON SOME ABRASION RESISTANT STEEL PLATES TO THE C CHANNEL.
