Well, I've went back into dirt work on a limited basis, working for a company on my days off. Feels good to eat dirt all day again, but more importantly I can now borrow equipment to work on my place during down time, so I have started adding some "gravel" to my sandy driveway until I can afford to put down flexbase.

After: (with 'my' truck)
Once I get a little more material hauled in, I'll bring the blade out (140H Cat) and cut a crown. Unfortantly the stuff I hauled in yesterday and today is $2 a yard from a rancher I used to work for. It is a clayey sand with a little bit of rock. It used to be $1 a yard, with a lot more gravel in it, but I guess the vein is played out.
Here is what I spread it with, setting next to my yanmar 1500D:
It is a D6M. We have two of those and a D6R, but the R is a pain to haul around.
