Driving equipment on the streets

Granted this is in Ok, but minimum is a SMV sign here. I also wired up warning flashers on both my tractors.

One thing to mention, while it is probably not too much of an issue based on what you have described, is insurance. I know I have a separate policy for my tractor just because I use it on the road occasionally. Otherwise it is covered under my home owner's policy. I discussed this at length with my insurance agent, and even she was confused about all the possible situations it was or wasn't covered.

I was stopped once while driving my Kubota between my property and my parents... about a mile apart on mostly residential streets... had my emergency flashers on and triangle mounted on the hoe.

Explained to the officer I was going from one family plot to the next doing seasonal work on the fire trials to get everything ready for the annual inspection.

Turns out the reason he stopped me was to ask questions about my BX23 because he was thinking of getting one.

This happened in the SF Bay Area
