How old do u have to be to drive a pickup with a farm tag

Why would there be an age limit other than 16? Of course, specifying where you're at may help.

I drove into town at 13 when I was a kid back in Ohio (1962). The sheriff waved all the time. It depends on where you are I suppose.

Here in Colorado you can get a farm license at 14.5, but farm plates have nothing to do with the age requirements for being able to drive at a certain age. Don't know what state your in and their laws are but that's how it is here.

Age 14 is youngest it appears.

• Oklahoma statute, title 47, motor vehicles is the law dealing with drivers permits. The types of permits are special permits, instruction permits, farming vehicle permits, competition permits, and learner's permits. These permits fall under different classes A-D. Learner's permits would be issued to persons at least 16 and allows the inexperienced driver to drive under supervision. Drivers as young as fourteen can be given 30-day farming permits, allowing them to drive exclusively farming vehicles. Just a general question. What would qualify as a farm vehicle? Obviously a tractor, combine and such would. But do they actually let 14 year olds drive on the roads with farm trucks? Seems odd to me. Is that quote referencing something other than the original question? When I think “farm tags”, I’m thinking license plates. But, plates aren’t issued to tractors, etc. around here. Maybe other places are different.
