I'm sure most of you have seen the drone built by the 18 year old that also has an attached semi-automatic pistol that can be fired while the drone is in flight?

There sure is a lot of controversy about the legality of such a weapon. i.e. Who is responsible? What if one wanted to set the parameters to go out and kill all people of a particular color, gender, or whatever. Or go out and destroy all green automobiles? Or any other criteria.

It seems that armed drone is one serious machine. As are all drones that can and are being used to invade personal and public property.

Drones seem like something so very useful, so cheap that most anyone can own one, and so versatile. And so uncontrollable!

Yep, and it was faked. You can even see spots in it where the gunfire and explosions doe not coincide. It also breaks the laws of equal/opposite reaction. First shot from that thing and the next one will be waaayyy off target to say nothing of the first shot even missing it.

No camera I'd probably let it fly. With a camera,I'm shooting it down and I'll worry about the legalities later. But that's just me.

sounded like the guy who shot the drone down is in real trouble sounded like charges that could take his gun rights. he needs serious legal help hope NRA or other org jumps on this.

It looks pretty real to me, but then, I'm no expert by far. Even if it isn't real, I suspect the possibility is very real and very soon. It's probably a situation that needs to be addressed, and PDQ.

That is not the one I thought. It is the machine gun one I had seen. The ?.45? one is also suspect due to the recoil action. I know if I hold one out at arms length and fire a shot, that gun is going to go UP.

One article said it was a 9mm pistol. It appears to be clamped in at the top of the frame, making it recoil almost straight back.
