On my list of things to do is my deceased Son's '79 Malibu. I'd definitely install a user friendly powertrain and chassis upgrade. I'd want to enjoy driving it.

That year is one of my favorite body styles of the post-smog cars. It just has a nice stance. :thumbsup:

I'm not a Chevy guy at heart. It would be nostalgic for me because of who's car it was.

I'd not change the exterior look. But I'd upgrade the chassis and powertrain for sure. I'd go for a stop light sleeper.

Here's a pic of it taken somewhere around 1993. The Olds is my Eldest Son's 455. Eric's Malibu came with a baby V8. He put an Olds 403 in it.
