My wife thought the commercial for these jeans was hilarious. So....somehow she got an email that these jeans were on sale. I recently had an inflamed cyst on one of 'them' and was very uncomfortable driving for any length of time. Anyway she wanted to know if I wanted a pair and I said of course. I didn't really think she would order them. They arrived in three days!

They are fantastic.

I always get very uncomfortable driving for more than a thirty minutes. My pants get tight in uncomfortable places and I'm always scooting around trying to 'relieve the pressure' on my anatomy. No problem with these. I never once thought about it while driving for two hours today.

They are EXPENSIVE compared to what I usually buy but I've told her to watch and get me another pair when they go on sale again. All it has different is a gusset (her technical term) sewn into the crotch of the jeans. It gives a little more space, well a lot more space for everything. Pull em up as high as you can and no pain.

I wonder if they make shorts like that.

My daughter ordered a pair of the Duluth Trading Fire Hose Jeans for her husband and he swears by them. He is a mason and he was going through a pair of regular jeans a week and these still look good after a month.

I've 4 pair of their firehose:
DuluthFlex Ultimate Cargo Pants
Ultimate Fire Hose Cargo Pants
Fire Hose Work Pants
Fire Hose Briar Pants
and when I don't want to wear a shirt
Ultimate Fire Hose Overalls
and for when it's hot
Dry on the Fly Cargo Pants

I had been wearing Proppers Cargo pants for about 5 years but they started tearing out and never were too good for when
they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go
.

The Fire Hose Briar Pants are excellent for that, but lack the cargo pockets, the basic Fire Hose Work Pants are great for the briars and brambles if I "ease through" but not heavy enough for the long thorny plants.

IF you pay attention to their never ending emails it seems everything goes on sale for 25% off, with free shipping > $50, you may just have to wait.

I had about half a dozen pairs of the fire hose cargo pants, took 5 years of daily wear to get some holes started in the pockets where I carried a small pair of channellock plyers daily. They also started busting a few sewn seams, which should have gotten them replaced under their warranty, which they did not honor. After sending 3 pairs of paints back at my expense, they offered a credit towards new pants, about 1/3 of replacement cost. Had I known that, I would have kept the damaged pants, now I'm out. Wouldn't send back my old ones like I asked, wouldn't send me even one pair of new ones. Haven't bought anything Duluth since.

I've bought a variety of their stuff over the past few years. Most was okay, just overpriced. On a vest I had to resew all the buttons. And the real killer for me, was their "Lifetime Belt". The stitching that held the two leather halves together, wore out in no time. I hand sewed the halves together in some places.
They offered to replace it etc........... Although, my handle is "oldballs", I don't spend much time sitting on them. But we are all made a little different....which reminds me of a joke about .....oh well....The author of the "Ball Room Jeans"....was "Won Hun Lo:...so they tell me.:confused3:

I looked on their website a while back and I can't afford it! I thought Carhartt was high.

The long tail shirts are great - I hate a shirt that untucks.
