TC40DA
Hi, I have the 16la and the bigger NH backhoe fron NH on my tc40da. my dumb question is, did i get any remotes installed with those two options????

My concern is what implements i can/cannot run w/o the mid option or rear 3 options. thanks for your patience! :)

Don't think so. The NH TC's remotes are optional additions (up to three). If you add any remotes you may also have to get an additional hose kit for your BH.
Our TC40DA came with a 16LA fel and a Woods BH90-X. We added a grapple to the 16LA and decided to go with a rear remote to power the grapple instead of a diverter valve. Adding the remote also required us to get a hose kit for the BH so that we could use the BH, fel and grapple simultaneously.

Thanks, any idea what the remotes and hardware go for from a NH dealer? I seem to recall a post by pineridge of a bunch of great photos on the 3 rear remote installation process... i'll have to dig that up..

It used to be cheap (relative) to install the remotes. They have doubled in price in the last two years. You can figure on paying about $500 for each remote kit now. They are the same kit that originally sold for $250 for the 1st one and $215 for the subsequent two. NH just decided they needed to make more money on each one, I guess.

PineRidge (Mike) has a great description of the process on his website. It's an easy job and a nice way to pass the morning or afternoon. I have all three remotes on my tractor and I love them.:)

No...the only carcass I was hauling was my own, back and forth to work at DFW airport. Of course, I've been called a MF a few times, but....:D
