I guess the only dumb question is the one not asked. I have to take my ct 335 in to town about 10 miles to do some work but i dont have a trailer to haul it on so would it be hard on it to road it the 10 miles one way to town? or should i try to find a trailer to use? It is a Hst Trany. Im sure once would'nt hurt it any but i can see this happening a few times threw out the year. So i thought i would see what you guys all think. P.S Just got a new phd for it last night been digging holes also what i have to do in town putting in a fence for my dad need to dig 18 holes will post some action pic's later. Thanks in advance.

I don't see anything wrong with taking it on the road for 10 miles.

Just make sure you take it out of 4wd and watch out for idiots taht are in a hurry and try to pass you on blind curves and hills.

Can you rent a uhaul? or borrow a trailer, if you have a truck with towing setup?

It probably shouldn't hurt it, just wear on tires and time.

As said tire wear..try and keep rpm's reasonable.
Maybe cut deal w/flat bed auto hauler.

Wouldn't hurt it a bit if you did it everyday.

I would agee that tire wear is the only thing you would see other than a lot of seat time. I don't know if the 335 is faster than the 230 @ 13.1 mph but you are looking at about a 45 min drive one way at 10 miles.

The 335 tops out at almost 18 mph not that i would run it wide open all the way. And i got the GP tires so would think they would wear well. I plan to keep checking back and see what people have to say i could leave tractor home and dig holes by hand but then why did i buy tractor and phd ?? Supose to do this next week so have awhile to make up my mind. Thanks to those that have helped me.

I,ve spent the last week hauling gravel from a pit with my 235,about a two mile trip but have made many trips and the left side tires are on pavment and right side in gravel.Must have 25-30 miles so far and I can,t see a difference in wear from right side to left. You,re not gunna hurt a thing,so just forget about any problems and enjoy the peace and solitude!Dave:thumbsup:

first day I had mine I drove her 4 miles to the tire dealer to have the rears filled, just varied the rpm's and was careful not to run over any critters or kids
