Dump Cart that dumps completely

I am looking to buy, either prefabbed or plans for an ATV size dump cart. The cart needs to dump completely not just on an angle. I want to tip up the cart and all of contents come out without shoveling or raking it out. The bucket would basically go straight up. Any ideas? Thanks.

My lawnmower cart will dump straight up. I would suggest if the cart will be hooked to a atv or riding mower, and 12vdc is available, simply purchase a linear actuator and mount it under the dumpbed. . Just figure out the distance between fully closed and fully open and buy an actuator of that stroke.

Generally, you have to get the floor to at least 45 degrees to get a guaranteed dump without any shoveling.

Like this? The load box is balanced over the rear axle, but the hitch pivots off the back rail of the box frame. Forward motion tends to pull the box down. Backwards motion tends to dump the box. Steeper dump angles would be achived by mounting the load box higher.

You can find these carts laying around just about anywhere if you look. They are very cheaply made and not meant for much more than lawn debris, clippings and such. I have a 15gal weed sprayer in mine and just use the cart spray fence lines and such.

I have the largest size of Trac Vac you can get for my 25 acres of grass. It dumps at a 45 degree angle. I had to doctor it up to do what you want to do as when it if full and the grass packs into it so tightly, it does not always slide out when you go to dump it. You have to take off the rear gate, dump the box and drive away and hope everything slide out. I raised the box off the fram so when I dump the box, it is almost verticle. Problem solved.
