Has anyone had experience with a dump hopper skid steer attachment? I have a Kubota M59 with the skidsteer hookup on the loader and am considering buying a hopper. I dont want another engine to maintain (so a dump truck is out). I have looked at dump trailers but I have some tight manuvering to do and I have concerns as to whether or not the trailers will withstand hauling shale.
I can't seem to find a dump hopper to rent (to test it out) and I don't find alot of opinion info on the net about the hoppers. The lack of opinion info makes me worry about their usefullness. Perhaps for the money they are simply too expensive and not alot of people use them.
I will be hauling shale fill primarily, mulch periodically, debris, gravel, cut firewood, fill dirt, and an occasional obnoxious relative.
The bobcat hopper would triple what I can haul in my bucket and I will be covering some rough ground and steep grades.
Any comments/opinions would be appreciated.
