NH TC45
This is my first post so be kind please! I currently have and old Pequea 18 ft trailer for hauling my NH45 w/backhoe & loader. I also have older smaller two axle cam dump. I am thinking of buying a new dump that can handle tractor and selling off the two other pieces. I am currently looking at a Big Tex 14LX or Cam 14' HD Low Profile Dump. I have also looked at a Load Trail. Just not sure what to do? Appreciate any input, tnx.

Welcome to TBN...........................

What is the length of your TC45 w/BH and loader. I'm not sure it would fit in a 14' dump trailer. I have a 16' Cross Country dump trailer and my tractor, even if the BH was swung 90* would not fit inside. In most states you can't legally haul a tractor if an attachment is hanging off the trailer. It must all be on (or in) the trailer and secured to it.
If I need to transport mine w/ BH I have to use my 22' tilt bed.

Crap............yes, I just measured it. Almost 18'. Thank you for the response and the pics. Maybe with funds permitting I should purchase a new trailer and keep the dump for around the house stuff, like firewood, etc. Again, many thanks! Any more info appreciated.

I agree with your conclusion, keep your small dump and get a new trailer for your tractor if that's what you need. Is the Pequa worn out or just need to be larger, which is what it sounds like.

I have similar setup, 6x10 10k deck over dump and an 18' 7k car hauler. Only mistake, should have gotten 10k car hauler and probably 20', but it all works for now.

Btw, welcome to the forum!

First make sure you have enough license to carry it. I had to downgrade in tractor size and upgrade my plates to remain legal. Might be completely different where you live, but I'd be surprised if there are no limits on both your driver license and truck plates.
