Dump truck for horse manure removal recommendations?

That’s probably a no turbo truck so don’t expect a powerhouse but it looks like a pretty clean truck. My 3500 truck is capable of about 4 tons. I’d really like to have a 3500HD or a F-450 with 19.5 wheels. They’re quite a bit more truck than the 3500 or F-350. A 2 ton truck is too big to do what I want. I don’t need to haul heavy loads of gravel very often or I would definitely have a heavier truck. You might damage the truck if you piled every gravel that would fit on it, but my truck will haul more dirt than what will actually fit.

Ok- Sounds like this F350 is the way for me to go. I just need routine manure removal, probably a few yards. Thanks everybody, I'll let you know how it shakes out.

One last thing: Think I can get away with the stake bed or should I look at something with solid sides?

I’d prefer to have a flatbed dump with nice sideboards so I could take them off and pull a gooseneck. If the stake bed is pretty solid and doesn’t bow outwards you’d be fine. You might have to put some plywood in it to reduce spilling.
