Durable dog toys.

GF has three lab mix dogs. About 80 lbs each. Looking for something they wont destroy in 24 hours. Can use rawhide. I spent $50 on toys last weekend and most of what was bought in already trashed. Any recommendations?

Their Zogoflex Hurley Dog Bone and Tux Treat are very, very tough.

For big dogs and serious chewers you generally can't find toys that last over 10 mins. at Walmart, the grocery, etc.

We have a 115# German Shepherd and his favorite toy is a tire bought at Petco (Mammoth Tire Biter) and available sometimes at Walmart. It has cords just like a real tire and lasts longer than anything else. He does punch holes in it with his large incisors and eventually gets to gnawing a larger hole from this small on, but it lasts several months. He loves to chase after any tire toy. The Nerf Frisbees, if he is allowed full access to them, last about 1 day, he loves to chase it down and then chew it a few times.

I don't have a big dog - just a very persistent one. All his chew toys come from PETCO and have lasted years.

I look for heavy chewer toys. My dog has one bone that is dense plastic feel like its made out of concrete and its lasted a year, she gnaws on that like crazy. That and the kongs. She is also persistent (golden doodle) her favorite toy is plastic drink containers, grabs those and trashes them in 5 mins tops.

Our 90 lb lab/shepherd loves squeaky toys and has always gone after the squeaker. She used to be able to find and remove it within half an hour. We got her hedge hog over a year ago. She plays with it every day and it still is in one piece(more or less), and the squeaker is still in place. We bought a second toy for her this Christmas but she still likes the hedgehog.

Deer sheds. My lab works on them for months/years with hardly any sign of wear. I sawed the sharp points off so she can't hurt anything (much) when she gets frisky and swings them around.
