I believe that the serrated blade works on hard ground better than the std straight blade.

We built our own and it works great. We were able to build it with a little heavier metal than some of the store bought models. We made at least two mistakes on ours however:

1. We should have included a little more adjustment on the blades and made that function a little easier, so think that through. I think if we build another it would be nice to be able to adjust it from the sides. We now have to turn ours over or on its end to get to the bolts.

2. We did not build ours with replaceable skid plates. Ours is getting pretty worn now although it has been used a lot on gravel and milled asphalt.

I am looking at the Road Boss vs the Duragrader. 7 or 8' blade. I have a Kabota 7040, and distance from outside of rear tires is 77". Road Boss will come out and give a demo, but am having problem getting a look at the duragrader. I like the idea of the duragrader having adjustable blades. anyone have anythng on thes two?

I'm actually pretty close to Road Boss, but they seem a bit high priced for what you get (to me anyway.) I'm pretty sure I've made my decision to go with this one Roadrunner Blade Home. I like the adjustable blade function and availability of a unit with both 3 point and quick attach hook ups.

I requested literature and a video and received them within a few days. The literature included testimonials which included a few from commercial owners that are members on another forum I visit.
