dust cover for FEL loader control

I have 4720I and I am constantly having to pull the dust cover down that covers the valves on the hand control on the FEL. The dealer says he has asked Branson about this problem. It looks like the strap they use to hold the dust cover at the base is just a little to wide and causes the cover to slip up. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution. It should be simple and not expensive.

I am not to good with a digital camera, if I can talk one of my kids into helping me, than I will try to get a picture and down load it. But with football season going on and my daughters softball team headed to state play offs it maybe awhile. The dust boot is at the bottom of the joy stick lever and covers the control valve to the FEL.

Maybe it is time to talk to Branson and see what they recommend.

I have a 3520, and the dust cover on mine is now held by a tie wrap. Might work for you guys, too.

This is a nine year old thread; any points for resurrecting it? I had this same problem and used a HD zip-tie to fix it. The boot has been deteriorated for some time now and since this problem occurred early I am looking into a CV axle boot as a better replacement.

This has been low on my list of priorities, until if seizes up next winter. I'll try to get to a parts store today and get a match up.

Turns out I already had this one, so must not be any better. Wont stay on, need to find a better way to secure it that zip ties.
