How can a mfg filter at 50% off cost be bad thing??? This is a great deal any way you look at it. If you do not want a 12 year supply of filters then get a few friends together and split the case. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Beauty of this list is that good people can disagree. Make your own decisions, etc.

I own a Porsche 911 and that owner group makes the same noise. Some would not consider putting other than PCAG products in their car, others have no fear at all on 3rd party. With a 15,000 mile drain interval and only 35K on my 1990 model, it is really not an issue with me.

Dealers in the group can offer their own figures and experience but one area NH dealer told me he makes over 75% of his profits from parts and service. So there is a lot at stake.

Hey, I'm still looking for Consumer Reports to start testing restaurant equipment and tractors. Think of how much we could learn if such extensive testing was done.

The parts world sometimes takes on an urban legend sort of feel. Are the major aftermarket brands junk or not, how do we know?
