E-Hydro Questions

I have a new 3720 with Automotive E-Hydro, Cab & Larger R4's. My problem is the ground speed is not as fast as the owners manual figures, for example range "C" top speed at rated engine speed is 8 MPH. Now if I turn one the cruise control and keep hitting the + button I can get around 17 MPH. This is true in all ranges, the only way I can get max. speed is to use the cruise control. Reverse works fine, just the pedal itself will reach max speed in all ranges. Could anyone help me with this. I think the speedmatch option may be my problem but I am not sure.

Not an expert on the speedmatch option but I know if a HST is overloaded there are internal valves that will open to keep pressure to safe levels and that will reduce your speed. Might try whether you can go faster with the HST pedal only 80-90% of the way pushed in rather than 100%. Otherwise I would chat with your dealer.

I think the speedmatch option may be my problem but I am not sure.

Have you turned it (SpeedMatch) off to see if the problem goes away?

If it's not the SpeedMatch system, then your forward pedal may not be properly calibrated... something you'll want your dealer to correct.

Something is definitely not right. I would go back to dealer if your speed match is turned off. The speedmatch can limit the speed of the tractor to a maximum speed regardless of how depressed the hydro pedal setting.

My 3520 will hold top speed with cruise on 16.7 mph !!

Thanks for all the help, The Speedmatch switch is off. I will see what the dealer says may be the problem. It must be in the pedal because reverse works just fine.
