E-rated truck tires ??

I buy my tires from discount tire direct. I have a tire / balance machine, so I mount my own.
Discount tire has the best prices I have found anywhere in my area.
Last E rated tires I bought was a couple months ago. Kumho is the brand I bought from them

I've had General Grabber AT2 on my 1993 Suburban for just about 2 years now. I am extremely pleased with them. Great in the snow. Pretty smooth on the highway for a semi-aggressive tread in my opinion, of course. They come in E range.

This is why I am looking for tires.

The rubber was hitting the truck, then hitting the road.

Goodyear Wrangler Authority A-T, date code 50th week of 2010. Put on 7-6-2011, at 33,333 miles. Removed at 67,220, they lasted 33,887 miles, almost 6 years.

Those tires look like they were made of n 1980 not 2010. The rubber is in real bad shape. With only 34K on them.

Yep, but a lot of heavy hauls at max load, or slightly overloaded on gravel roads, contributed to that look.

We were lucky it didn't blow out. I hasn't lost any air. Drove over 50 miles after we heard the noise of the rubber chunks hitting the wheelwell.

Yep, 6 years and almost 34,000 miles. So I decided to stay with the same tread design, Authority A/T.

Ordered 5 tires from Walmart.com on Friday the 16th, shipped Monday, got them yesterday, Walmart mounted them today. :thumbsup:
