I'm considering a 6900 attachment from Everything Attachments
but first, ,I want to tell you about my PHD.
I have this PHD that I got about 15yrs or so ago.
It cost quite a lot to get the dang thing. Most everyone that heard about it said it was a good thing to have and that it would pay off and that in time I would be glad I had it. Not everybody has one you see.
It was useful for a little while but then turns out it wasn't really worth all that much after all. It didn't help at all in getting jobs and was really limited in helping finish jobs I was already working on. Mostly, I could have done OK without it - don't let anyone tell you different.
So I just wanted you to know - them Post Hole Diggers just ain't all they're cracked up to be. The handles are too short to dig a real deep hole. And the handles are flimsy and bust before long. I hear tractor augers is way better.

So if anyone has a 6900 tractor post hole digger attachment I would appreciate hearing how it has held up.
Thanks

3 point post hole augers can be great, if used right. There is no down pressure and it does not like large rocks or large tree roots. It can also be very dangerous for any one close to it. I have one friend, shirt got caught on auger and wrapped his arm around it before it could be shut down. Came close to losing it and his life. I know of other accidents. I would not be without mine, but I don't have large rocks and I stay away from large trees. And I will not let anyone close to it while running.

I have one and use the **** out of it. It's a Linebaugh or something like that, pretty heavy duty. Even used a 24inch auger with it for footings when I built my barn. We have pretty rocky ground and if I hit a rock I move over and over and over a bit more, you get the idea. Yes they can be dangerous if you're careless but so can your tractor or ANY pto implement. I have a big snowblower and that thing could chew you to pieces if you're stupid enough to get anywhere near the working parts when it's running. Sorry about your friend but I'm sure the auger didn't just jump up and grab your friends shirt and suck him in. Come on folks you have to use your head when working around moving equipment. To answer the question I've not seen anything from Everything Attachments that didn't look like good quality stuff.

Thanks for the helpful feedback. I appreciate it. I will take a look at the front mounted auger. My place does have some rocky ground areas so using an auger there would need extra safety for sure.
I've always tried to pay attention to safety - good safety habits will save your bacon sooner or later. I know of an individual falling into a moving disc harrow --- sad situation but of course he wasn't following safe use of the implement or it wouldn't have happened.
Drilling post holes will be a high safety zone for me.

Can't emphasize the safety too much. There is a lady in our area who lost an arm to one over 30 years ago. Clothing got hung in the pto and jerked it out at the shoulder. She survived and has adapted but there was a long road to recovery. No matter what kind of hole digger you have, give it a wide safety zone. W. Jones

I never did get a pHD. You are right they do cost too much and you can usually do just as well with just a bachelor's degree.
