I set the 5 gallon jug of fuel on the seat of the tractor and transfer pump hose was in easy reach to the tank filler neck. I transferred about 2 gallons of fuel to top off the tank in probably about a minute or so and as I saw the fuel near the filler neck just shut off the pump. Much easier than lifting and pouring.
