early review B3030 HSDC (long)

First off the 403 fel is straight as an arrow and no vibration problems. Fact cab is awesome, however, it's easy to smash your head into the corner of the cd when entering,be careful, it hurts,trust me! The 403 loader is a perfect match for this tractor, nice stout fel w/ good balance,power & lift height. Remote fel control is standard in fact. cabs & is far superior to the joystick, you can use the armrest while operating the fel. The seat suspension works well once you find the proper setting. Gauges,control levers & switches are well placed, heater & ac are very powerful, stereo is nice, speakers are ok not great, glass is nice all around, rear window is open or closed, it should have multiple settings. Telescoping stabilizers & position control are great but they take some getting used to. 3 pt hitch is very,very powerful, pto & tranny shifting are very smooth. IMHO this is a well designed, comfortable, capable, machine. The aspect that really impresses me is the quiet, the pto is like silent & the cab is quiet even with the throttle up. I test drove a B3030 w/cab in the heat of the summer, high 90's, and after putting it through some paces for approx 20 minutes, I definitely found the machine I'll upgrade to if/when the need arrises and I can justify it.
It didn't take long for the AC to cool the cab down and everything seemed to fit me right. The cab made everything quiet and I didn't feel any vibrations either.
I'd have to go into business working it to justify it and to tell you the truth, that don't sound to bad /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
