Earthquake and Kubota?

That was one of the worst disasters of that magnitude in a very long time. If you put yourself in their placxe it is devastating. Water, food medice, sewer system, electricity, all things we take for granted are gone along with the worry about radiation. Not good....

This has gone from bad to worse as details emerge, and I don't think we hit the bottom yet. I hope the Japan can recover quickly from this event.

Wish People of japan well. No one deserve carnage like that, friend or foes alike. This tragedy will reverberate to all unless your're live totally separated from the grid and that is such a small percentage of world population. I hope we will not have an environmental tsunami in the making with the fall out.

Memo from Kubota----"Kubota appreciates the many inquiries from employees and dealers regarding the devastating effects of last week痴 earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
As of March 14, we are aware of the following Kubota-related operations and employee news: * Kubota Corporation痴 main office in Osaka is operating at full status
* Kubota plants in Sakai and Hirakata are at regular operation status
* Kubota痴 plant in Tsukuba is shut down March 14 and March 15 for recovery / re-opening and tentative plans to re-open following the 16th; decision to be determined on the 16th
Fortunately, there has not been any reported loss of life of any Kubota employee at the machinery division locations.
We will continue to gather information and provide additional updates to you as we move forward during the week. Kubota appreciates the many gracious offers to assist during this time of need.
