Earthquake in Michigan ??

Anyone else feel the earthquake (4.2) today in Michigan about 12:23pm? My wife was inside the house and felt it I was on my tractor and felt nothing.

Yes. I felt it. I was in my computer room. At first I thought a big gust of wind hit the house, but I realized it was a quake. Pretty mild. First one I noticed.

The only small quake that I can remember in Michigan was back in the mid 1960,s.Wonder if all of this fracking is changing things?

Yes, due to fracking, Oklahoma quakes have increased 50% since 2013.

I was sitting in the basement at the time and just felt a slight shake. My wife was upstairs, standing on her feet, and did not notice at all.

South Bend, Indiana...

My wife said she was sitting at our dining room table at 12:23 doing on-call work for her employer. She said the house felt like it was buzzing and the laptop computer screen was shaking. She said it lasted about 20 seconds. I was in a car with one of my children and we missed it.

We had one a few years ago. I was sleeping in our waterbed and it felt like there were bumble bees in the water. Freaky! :laughing:
