Easy stink bug killer.

We have stink bugs in our house pretty often and I got tired of catching them in my hands and trying to wash the stink off. Now I just use a plastic water bottle and slide it under them, they like to crawl on the ceiling so it is easy. Then just put the top back on and beat something with the bottle. They are killed and broken to pieces and the stink is in the bottle. Ed

A related question. I saw "stink bug traps" at my local Southern States store. Do the traps work?

I just catch them in a napkin or tissue and flush them down the toilet. I don't get their stink on my hands and if I am quick about it, they don't throw off too much smell before their last lap into the septic.

You all talking about those Chinese lady bugs? I think they were introduced by our USDA to attack the aphids attacking soybeans. Some of us in soybean country might opine "It's not nice to fool with mother nature". A few winters ago I had the unfortunate task of having to clean my septic filter in 0 degree weather...it was jammed full of little "dots" (looked like sesame seeds). Deep tank so warm enough for them, moisture and obviously they don't care about the smell.

I don't think so, those are a whole different pest to deal with. These are the stink bugs.

If you have ladybugs, you will have stinkbugs. Ladybugs have few natural predators since they stink too, but stink bugs like the taste!

I've got a Red Heeler that eats anything that moves, stink bigs included. She loves the d*mn things! A time or ten they've make her sick but only after she has ate 20+.

You'll be watching tv or what ever and all of the sudden, stink bug smells. Then she wants to come love on you with stink bug breath. No thanks.
