I just run it very slow and drop the deck a few times always have come loose.

I had the same thing happen--brush hog blades got crossed when the tractor shut down trying to start the mower. I uncrossed mine with a sledge hammer pretty easily. Hit one blade near its end.

Mine would not budge with small crowbar and hammer. Finally removed tail wheel and loosened one bolt a couple turns. That released the tension. Tightened and torqued the blade bolt back and replaced tail wheel.

Thought about revving to 3,000 rpm and popping the PTO button. The vibration could be terrific if they didn't pop out. Don't think they would have because centrifugal force to cause them to would be less with them tucked back together the way they were.
