What is the best way to use the bucket to move snow on a paved driveway without damging the asphalt??
Can I put a poly/plastic edge on the bucket to help prevent damage. I have looked at United States Plastic Corp. which sells 1/2 x 6" rectangular strips cut to proper lengths.
Would this be a good suggestion. How would I attacch to the bucket.

I would drill holes in the bucket edge like you would be installing a bolt-on cutting edge...which you are, sort of.

Don't be surprized if the plastic does not wear very long. You may also wish to contact May-Wes Manufacturing. web page They build all sorts of plastic parts for the ag industry including plastic cutting edge. It is pre-beveled and they will predrill holes for you. It isn't cheap but should work well.

I bought some 1/2" heater hose and have put a slit piece on the bottom of my back blade. I plan to put a piece along the bucket as well. Have tacked it here and there with Goop to hold it in place. Will let you know how it works.
