Markets are a VERY regional thing - things are NOT the same all over the world...
Mike, you know what? Even in our this small town, small workshops are trying to save their "images" so that their neighbour workshops will think they are still in good position. I know of tousands of small, medium and big size companies here in Turkey, Europe, and all over the world. Now, they are silent and trying to save their images, but, somethings unavoidable. This reminds me of a story (just for fun):
---
A man had lost his donkey and was going about searching for it, at the same time singing gaily.
Someone couldn't help asking:
-It looks funny to hear you sing, man, when everyone knows you have lost your donkey. One would expect to see you wailing and lamenting your loss!
-Man replies: Friend, my one last hope is that the dump creature may be behind that hill, yonder, my friend. Wait and hear the wailing and the lamenting, if that shouldn't be the case!
---
I estimate 20% of manufacturing companies have already stopped. 70% of them haven't stopped yet, but, just drinking coffees in their offices with no phone, no order. They are just trying to save their images. 9% of them are trying hard to sell. 1% is selling, but, without any profit. Ok, I am known as a pessimist. But, these figures I gave are optimistic estimated figures. Face the reality.
