Been lurking on the site for a while and decided to join to get in on the discussion a bit. We have a small acreage near the city here and I'm looking to upgrade my equipment. Relatively new to the acreage thing so forgive me on some of the tractor terminology. Part of the fun of having an acreage are the toys so I want to make sure I make the right upgrade!

Don't sweat the lack of terminology knowledge... we (most) all had to start somewhere. My first TBN thread post was asking about, what turned out to be, a chain harrow. People helpfully 'piled on' with their suggestions for everything from DIY contraptions to purchased implements.
