I see the hydraulic filter from PT is $15....I don't recall the exact cost of the Purolator filter but I know it was less than $10($8 something sticks in my feable mind). I don't buy locally so much as to save a couple of bucks but rather just to know I have a local outlet to run to if needing something quick. I change the oil in my car so often that it's easy enough to pick up filters for the PT at the same time.
