Eicher engine problem

Hello all. I am posting this for a French friend who cannot find the solution on french sites. I'm not sure if this is the right place but:-
He has a Eicher EBC700.019 and cannot figure out how to regulate the tappets?
any ideas please. Thank you in anticipation
