El Cheapo pickup truck crane ??

Hi Folks,
Old Tightwad Tad would like to know if anyone has purchased/used one of the inexpensive pu truck cranes.

I won't use it very often just want to move some rocks right now.

I've found them rated 1000# prices from $50 - $500. Tell me what you know.

Thanks in advance as usual , cause I know there will be some helpful comments.

I got one of the low boy models from Harbor Freight. Had to reinforce the bed of my pickup truck, but the crane keeps right on liftin' heavy stuff, like my grader blade. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
