Just wondering, since I have an electric PTO clutch, do you think it has been engineered to slip before damage to the tractor occurs? I have a brush cutter with a slip clutch, but I was thinking that surely the tractor has been engineered so that the electric clutch will slip before damage occurs to the PTO driveline. Thoughts?

You have a electric over hydraulic PTO clutch.
Basically you have a clutch pack, pretty much like a clutch pack on a automatic transmission. When you flip the switch, it energizes a solenoid valve that will then apply pressure to the clutch pack to engage. When the flip is Off, a spring applies a brake.
This setup doesn't work as a slip clutch. You still need a slip clutch to prevent damage to your tractor.
