John Deere LA145
I have a John Deere rider (LA145?) that had professional yearly service this past May 2014. About 1 month ago, it stopped working after I mowed a large yard. Literally quit as I rode back to my house from a couple of houses away.

Appears to be electrical, since the battery tests as good at the autoparts store. Is there a typical problem with these riders that might be an easy DIY fix? Fuse, safety, etc? Any advice will be most appreciated. My repair shop does not pick up riders anymore, and I do not know anyone who can help me get it to the shop.

Thank you in advance for any helpful advice.

did your battery develop a short? How old is the battery? I had to replace mine just last week. The battery was 4 years old, it shorted and actually blew off the caps.
