Electric PTO on a bolens 1402 Drive belt size

Hello Im trying to find the right diameter belt from the PTO to my snow blower . I tried a 42 inch and it was too small and a 43 is too big ...........Whats Am I doing wrong

Found out my tension pully needed to be rebuilt. Now it is good Thanks
