I crossed the battery wires on my cub cadet series 1500 and tried to start it before I realized the mistake. Should wear my glasses all the time. Now I have no power to anything. He starter still works by jump start so I know it is good. Took ignition apart and it looked great. No wires show damage. All diagrams give me no help.

Anyone know what tests I can run to find the people's? Weeds are growing like weeds in Texas.

Look for a fuse or a fusible link somewhere. Could also be a blown circuit breaker. Start tracing power from the battery and find where it quits. A test light works good for this. Remember to check the safety switches too.

Somewhere along the red or red/white wire from the "B" terminal on the ignition switch to the battery connection to the starter solenoid there's a inline fuse.
