I have to install two pumps for my osb I have one power source but I need another outlet on the other side so I need to run a jumper from the live power to the outlet I will be putting in so what gauge wire do I need?.

If less than 100ft and 110v 20amp you can use 12 gauge.

OK when you open the door to the boiler on the right side there is power and the pumps have a power cord so instead of digging to nurroe lines I just want to run a wire from the live wire to the other side of the door so I CAN plug the pumps in.

To figure wire gauge needed, we need to know volts and amps of the pumps, not the room arrangement.

Jack,

I think Rock means what is the length of the wire run and what are the amperage of the pumps. Will the pumps ever be running at the same time, etc. Otherwise there is no way to help you with your question.
