Having been a member of this board for a long time, I've seen a lot of different folks come (and some go) at this site. I'm not a high-volume poster, mainly because I pick and chose where I help out or say my piece, and I don't have as much time as I would like to spend here. I will agree with you that high volume does not always equal good advice but it is one indicator. The same can be said of how long you've been a member. If a poster says something of interest and they are unfamilier to me, many times I'll check out their past posts to see the quality of their past responses.
In checking out your past responses, most have been quite helpful, and it appears that you have quite a bit of knowledge to offer. I wouldn't take offense if people don't listen or respond to your advice . . . it happens to me and most others all the time. Let it slide. Lots of others will benefit from you taking the time to post.
For the record, I DO think Bird had the most appropriate analogy and reasoned response. I for one, couldn't imagine moving in to a neighborhood, and then immediately walking down the street to a group of guys and telling them that they were "doing it all wrong". Sounds like a fast track to nowhere. My mental picture of TBN is one where a group of folks are standing around a coffeepot at the Co-op, talking about things that are mutually interesting.
Soooo, lighten up and stick around. Most folks come to TBN to relax, not to argue over every little thing. Get plenty of that out in the real world. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
