Elusive Hydraulic Leak Found, But What's This ?

We were losing hydraulic fluid and could not find the leak until we double teamed the beast. The operator worked everything from the seat while I searched underneath. When the steering wheel was turned back and forth, a thin stream of fluid squirted straight down from the hydraulic fitting on the left side of the power steering cylinder. Victory was ours !

But then what was this on the right floorboard ? Was it tracked in on a boot from somewhere else or did it fall off the 5555 ?
