Montana 9084C
Hopefully this is the right spot for this post...

I installed a circulating coolant heater on my Montana 9084C except the top clamp loosened off and the darn thing circulated all the coolant out of the rad :mur:

I use the tractor almost exclusively for plowing so heat is a must!

I got the rad refilled and let it bleed out but I'm still not getting any heat in the cab....it seems to me the heater core at the top of the cab is an awfully high point...is there a bleeder nipple on there somewhere, or will it eventually burp up there?

Any help is appreciated as I expect it to get cold again real soon!

UPDATE: Sat in the tractor tonight and ran it with the rad cap off for almost an hour....once the engine temp came up (about 20min) I switched on the heater and idled up to about 1500, for the next 40 mins I just had a few bubbles maybe a 2-3 ounces-worth, I put the cap on and idled up to about 1900 just as I was about to call it quits for the night heat started pouring out of the vents!

I turned the valve off then on a few times to ensure consistency then shut the heater valve off and finally shut down the tractor. Hopefully I can top up the rad again tomorrow once it cools down and be good to go...

Thanks for the advice, I'm glad I didn't have to get into the core itself...
