Hey guys I have a haulmark enclosed trailer size 8.5 wide 24 ft. long. Im buying a NH.model 1510 with fold down rops. Do you think it would fit in the trailer. thanks bill
Should fit just fine. My 2 concerns would be the floor strength and the lack of any substantial tie down points. I would want to know the floor loading spec per square foot because if your tractor weighs 4,000# you will only have about 4 sq ft of floor contact space per tire at 1,000# per sq ft. You could help this out a some by getting some 2x12's about 12' long and lay them down so you drive on them and distribute the load. Now for the tied down points you need some heavy "D" rings to secure it to. If this trailer is ok to haul a car in then you would be fine on both the floor loading and the tie down points.
Well, did some research and she is a light weight at 2,400#. Now if you have a loader, loaded tires, ect that will add to the weight. Here is a link to the dimensions. Just make sure you have good tie down points and you should be fine. Also watch the rear loading ramps/gate to not overstress.
A friend of mine loaded a small car (ford focus I think) into the same style trailer with 2 x 3500lb axles, and it was fine. If the tractor truly is only 2400lbs, you'll be fine.
Just make sure that you account for all the weight on the tractor - ie the front end loader, fuel, fluids, 3pt implement etc. A 2400lb machine can quickly become a 4000lb machine with all that added on.

Check the ramp load... most come standard #2000 or I have the optional #4000 ramp door.
Shouldn't be a problem with floor loading and every enclosed auto trailer generally has at least 4 D rings in the floor.
I had my trailer shipped with the D rings in a box so I could place them where I wanted and use substantial backing plates tied to the steel trailer frame...
according to your specs you should be fine. It sounds like a car hauler. My dx31 with font end loader and 3pt mower squeezed into my 20ft trailer. Have to admit you should make sure your ramp door is as level and supported as possible when loding and unloading.
