Encore & Yazoo Kees Zero Turn Mowers

I'm looking to buy a new ZT mower soon. I have a total of 27 acres of brush with approximately 5 acres cleared so far to start mowing this coming season. Eventually I'll have more cleared. I have a tractor and brush hog for the roughest stuff but this is pretty rocky, rough ground to cover for now. Bottom line, when I buy a ZT I want to invest for now and the future.

I stopped at my local dealer today and they sell Yazoo Kees and Encore. I've never heard of either but looks like they are both commercial lines, at least the models they sell are. The Encores are the less expensive it appears although they are definately "cheap" priced. They have the Kawasaki engines on most and appear to be a quality made machine. Their "X-Treme" models are the commercial line and their price quotes were as follows:

48" 19 HP Kaw = $6.300
52" 23 HP Kaw = $6.900
60" 25 HP Kaw = $7,000

Does anyone know anthing about these mowers??? The Encore has a 2yr Warranty with a 10yr deck warranty. Here's a link to the spec sheet.

The Encore ZTR are made in Beatrice, Nebraska. In Beatrice they make the Encore, Yazoo-Kees and another I don't recall. I bought a 42" about 4 years ago and I have been pleased. I haven't had to call them lately, but I used to be able to call and talk to a service guy there. The machine is well made and cuts well. Good Luck, Morpheus

I have an Encore Pro Line, probably 10 to 15 years old and can say nothing but good about it. Kawasaki liquid cooled, 52" deck, zero turn. We mow between 5 and 6 acres, pretty rough but mower has stood up to it. One of the toughest mowers we have owned.
