Engine chokes itself when I give it gas

Does anyone know where I could buy aftermarket exhaust for my GTH 220, And. About a month ago it stopped choking itself up but it started again while I was giving it gas while pulling a stump, I think the fuel line is clogged or the carburetor has junk in it, at least I hope anyways, please tell me wat u think it could be, I'm lost:confused2:

The engine for the first couple of hours I had it out after sitting for more than two years in one spot, it choked itself after a few minutes, and it stopped about a month ago but it started again,

When a carb does not work well most people remove the carb to clean it. Often there is crud in the fuel bowl and the main jet is clogged, or the tube the main jet feeds is clogged. Carbs are relatively simple. Air and fuel have to move as designed to work. Obstructions and air leaks cause problems. That sounds like something that happened to my stihl. it was the spark arrestor plugged up on the muffler. Cleaned it and it's fine now. Good luck

I had the same thing happen to a weedeater, the muffler was stopped up with carbon. I tried everything (Seafoam, carb cleaner, adjusting the jets etc) and it would just crank and run but didn't have any power. Repair shop took out the baffle plate that was carboned up and now it runs fine. He said it was cause from not running the engine WOT.
I removed all the "spark arrestors" (screens) from my Kubota tractor and RTV as they carbon up too fast to mess with them. Never seen a diesel that needed a spark arrestor anyway and since I don't run them on Federal park land why mess with a mess.
