Hi
Is there a good way to check the performance of an injector? The engine starts to run rough when it reaches a certain rpm or a load is put on the engine. It seems to run smooth at Idle. Looking for some possibilities before I tear into it. I noticed the change in the engine sound while I was using it to move some dirt a couple of days ago and it was late so I just put the tractor in the shed and haven’t got back to it. It’s a ford model 1920 year 1995 with just over 400 hours I purchased it last fall and I haven’t obtained a set of service manuals for it, looks like I will be buying some soon. My first thought is an injector is dirty. If that were the case would it be better to buy a new injector or clean the dirty injector. If cleaning is a solution what is the best method to perform the task. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Charlie.
