Hello I have purchased a Envriotec HP1250c PTO chipper at a auction. It has no markings on it, so I have been searching everywhere for what it is. I did find someone selling one Just like it on a site out of Canada. But cant find any information about the manufacture, model, or anything else. Does anyone here have any info on this Chipper?
BigRic I just got one of these from my in laws. They picked one up in an auction years ago. Looks like it has never been used. I put it on my Mahindra 4035 and went to chipping. I found that the discharge chute is prone to clogging. Twice I stopped, removed the chute, cleaned out all of the blockage, and went back to work. The blockages seemed to happen when I chipped multiple items at once, or very small branches. The small branches would bend over in the chute causing the clog. When I ran the chipper without the chute in place it worked like a charm (it did cause it to snow wood chips). A friend of mine suggested that it could be the blade sharpness, or that they are incorrectly spaced. He has a stand alone unit that has a power feed and the space between his drum blades and bed knife is only 1/8 of an inch. I have yet to check this on mine, but I do know that I can touch the blades on the drum and have no fear of cutting a finger.
So, now that you've read my tale what is your question?
